R.I.P. Heath Ledger ? 04.04.1979 to 23.01.2008

I was in shock when I heard the news, and I guess I still am. I was watching the news at around 7.50am when I heard allegations that Heath Ledger was found dead in his NY apartment. At that time, I thought that there was a mistake or a misunderstanding and it couldn?t be true... Not at 28, and not with a 2-year-old daughter... It couldn?t be true...

At 7.55am, it was confirmed that he was dead. As I heard, his maid found his body in his bedroom as she went to tell him that the masseuse had turned up. Even though now it was a fact, I still couldn?t believe it. I don?t know why it is such a shock ? it?s not like I know him personally or at all [apart from his movies but then he isn?t himself ? he is a character] it shouldn?t be hard to take in.

He was a great talent, too young to lose...

Work was really slow today.
Considering it is still school holidays, it is really dead.
I can?t imagine how it will be after the children go back.

I got a few more brochures on Fiji and found one good one to do but I don?t know how much it is for a single. All the prices listed are for twin/double.

I haven?t got anything else left to say today so I?m going to go.

All I needed was one more number and I would have been $200,000 richer!!!

Queensland Roar lost to Adelaide United 2-0 last night.
We were down to 10 men in the 41st minute after one of our players decided to take a short left jab at an opposition player. Wanker... It all went down from then...
We play Sydney FC again to decide 3rd spot on either Friday or Saturday this week.
Then for some stupid reason, the winner decides where to play a re-match. God knows why we have to watch them play twice when we will already know who is 3rd and 4th.

It was lucky that I decided to look in the TV Guide this morning as I saw that ?Atomik Circus? is on tonight on SBS. I checked my video recorder and it has a wonderful SBS picture at the moment. Usually I can?t get it but it is working for me today!!! YEY!!!

I've decided that I'm going to go to Fiji sometime in the near future. I may go for one week sometime next year as I'm going to New Zealand in July-August this year and then no-where until Europe in 2010 so a weeks break in 2009 will be just great! Also taking that week, I will still have 6 weeks left of holiday pay owing to me when I take the 5 weeks to Europe! :-)

Queensland Roar play tonight... We need to win ? if we win, we are in the final!!! That means I get to go to the final match, where ever that will be! YEY!!!

Today we went to a park to celebrate Daniels 6th birthday.
I gave him a microscope set! He seems interested in it! That is good.

Tarsh rang and they got there fine. Good to hear but I heard she nearly rolled a ride-on mower and nearly hit some wild kangaroos on a road somewhere.

I didn?t end up watching movies or anything last night. I ended up making a favourites CD for myself to listen to in the car and I also wrote Isabelle [in Canada] a letter to send with her CD. I sent that today and must send her an email letting her know that it is on it?s way!

Work was slow again but I got stuck with doing 200 CDs which lasted me until midday then I got to stock up stock and tidy up the office. It filled in time and it was time to go home soon enough. I bought myself a blue boob tube [in the picture] for only $5!

Anyway, I can?t say much more as in the time that this takes to upload itself, it will be time to watch ?The Amazing Race?. I should have good reception tonight as the last time I checked channel 7 it was on 60-61% which is the best it has been ? usually around 44-45%.
